Job Description
NOVOS FiBER, a premier provider of FTTH internet services, is seeking an experienced Central Office and Optical Network Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of their network infrastructure, emphasizing Nokia technologies. The engineer will oversee installation, maintenance, and operation of central office equipment and optical network systems, combining technical expertise with customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of FTTH technology, optical networking, and central office operations.
- Hands-on experience with Nokia network equipment and technologies.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an ISP or telecommunications company.
- Familiarity with installation, configuration, and maintenance of OLTs, routers, and switches.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations.
