Director of Sales for Walmart, responsible for leading the Walmart sales team to maximize growth and deliver sales objectives. The role involves building customer partnerships, driving collaboration with internal partners, and executing the Walmart strategy to support growth and build into the overall corporate strategic plan.
Requirements
- 7-12 years of experience in CPG Sales and/or Retail Merchant/Buyer with a proven track record of success working with multiple top tier retailers (5+ years Walmart experience preferred)
- Proven ability to lead sales for a business area, with 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Deep P&L and Trade Budget knowledge and ownership experience
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and develop a high level of trust
- Proven ability to drive eCommerce sales & customer experience
- Entrepreneurial spirit, tenacity, dependability, integrity, and innovative sensibility
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and build capabilities for the team
- Personally, and professionally motivated to deliver results and get things done
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Strong negotiation skills in“ getting to yes” with retail partners
