Role Overview

OnTrac is hiring a Senior Director of Transportation to lead the design, execution, and optimization of First Mile pickup operations. The role oversees a $100M+ transportation budget and leads a team of 10+ managers. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience leading teams and divisions in transportation, supply chain operations, and logistics.

What You Will Do

The Senior Director of Transportation will own First Mile pickup strategy and execution, design and deploy multi-modal pickup models, build and implement end-to-end processes, and oversee transportation spend across a $100M+ budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of relevant experience leading teams and divisions
• Comprehensive understanding of transportation, supply chain operations, and logistics in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale multi-modal transportation solutions
• Strong competency interpreting operational KPIs, capacity models, cost analysis, and performance metrics
• Strong operational and financial acumen, including P&L ownership and budget accountability (including ownership of large transportation spend)
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams with accountability for hiring, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and evaluations
