Job Description
OpenAI is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Applied Engineering team, responsible for the core infrastructure supporting products like ChatGPT and the API. The team focuses on building and maintaining infrastructure abstractions to enable rapid and scalable product development, ensuring reliability, security, and safety. The role involves designing, building, and operating scalable infrastructure, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to a diverse and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years building core infrastructure
- Experience operating orchestration systems such as Kubernetes at scale
- Experience building abstractions over cloud platforms
