Principal Advanced Services Engineer, CSS Tech Delivery, Database

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated engineer to work as our Database Infrastructure Specialist. As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base.

Requirements

• Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means
• Provide technical advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues
• Work with Exadata and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)
• Work with Oracle DBA and Oracle Secure Backup (OSB)
• Work with OCI, Unix, Linux, Solaris, and ZFS Storage
• Work with Real Application Clusters and Grid Infrastructure
• Work with Enterprise Manager OEM and Grid Control
• Work with Oracle VM, Directory Server, and ASM
• Work with Network switches, protocols, and security
• Work with Load balancer, Java, xml, SQL, shell scripting
