Cost Engineer (Temp)

We’re seeking a temporary Cost Engineer to join our Finance team. This is a six month assignment at our Calvert, AL location. The Cost Engineer acts as plant controller/financial advisor for the respective plant. Plan, analyze and report production costs. This individual is an active member of the mill management team and is expected to lead and support all aspects of facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. BS preferred.
• 3 – 5 years of experienced in desired field preferred.
• Provide support for preparation of capital investment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Manufacturing experience is required; metals industry preferred.
• 5-10 years of previous experience in cost accounting/planning and analysis.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
• Strong experience in use and applications of Microsoft Office, mainly PowerPoint & Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
