Requirements
- Working knowledge of college level math and tutoring strategies.
- Knowledge of modern writing practices, developmental writing and composition curriculum standards and writing conventions and standard writing formats, such as MLA, APA and Chicago documentation style.
- Working knowledge of college level science and tutoring strategies.
- Verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to relate to students at various skill levels.
- Ability to be flexible.
- Ability to speak in public.
- Able to put students at ease and build their confidence.
