Maintenance Planner

Role Overview

The Maintenance Planner will perform as a professional, highly skilled, and exceptionally competent maintenance person, handling certification, training, and management of contractors and planned maintenance. This role will handle the bid and planning process for project work and participate in teams to develop and implement solutions.

What You Will Do

The Maintenance Planner will perform duties such as energy control procedures, lock tag try system, and training and regular auditing of the process. They will also work with contractors, read blueprints and technical data references, and inspect plant equipment to identify potential problems.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of plant experience, be able to troubleshoot major plant systems, and have a basic understanding of blueprints and electrical circuitry. They will also be able to work well in a team or alone, have good attention to detail, and be able to think under pressure and make quick decisions.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• Complete and pass Electrical CD Rom training provided by plant
• Minimum two years of plant experience or demonstrated capability and knowledge to trouble shoot major plant systems
• Basic ability and knowledge of welding practices and hydraulic circuitry
• Advanced understanding of electrical circuitry
• Basic PLC knowledge
