Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for creating and fulfilling production schedules, ensuring high-quality products, and implementing lean manufacturing. This role requires a dedicated leader responsible for safety, waste, and employee engagement, working closely with various functional departments. The position reports to the Plant Leader and has direct reports to create an inclusive and customer-focused culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Operations, or Business
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience leading people in a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma GB certification
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong manufacturing standards, procedures, engineering and technical abilities
- Prior experience as an Operations Leader, Controller, or Supply Chain Leader
