Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide quality and person-centred nursing care to residents, utilizing the nursing process and applying nursing knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment. The position requires a significant amount of lifting, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, standing, and sitting, with the ability to manage stressful work situations with dexterity and professionalism.
Requirements
- Graduated from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)/Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year recent related experience
- A proof of valid license/registration/certification from one of the following provincial College: British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP), College of Licensed Practical Nurses Association (CLPNA); and, Registered Practical nurses Association of Ontario (RPNAO)
- Certified in First Aid as required by provincial legislation
