Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to provide administrative and coordination functions for our Legal team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma/certificate in Legal Assisting or Paralegal Studies and 3+ years of experience in a legal role, with specific experience in commercial leasing and/or franchising.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Legal Assisting or Paralegal Studies
- 3+ years previous experience in a legal role with specific experience in commercial leasing and/or franchising
- Exposure to Real Estate and/or Corporate and/or Franchising and/or Leasing law
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Extremely organized and diligent with follow-up and detail
- Strong technical skills using MS Office and advanced excel skills
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize and multitask
- Flexible, team player that is service oriented and shows a willingness to help internal team members, as well as Franchise Partners
