Registered Nurse | Temporary Full-time | Evening | (2D-BSU)

As a Registered Nurse at Partners Community Health, you will support residents by assuming responsibilities such as medication administration, organizing personal care, and guiding the healthcare team to provide effective care. You will promote resident-centeredness, humanizing, and sensitivity in spiritual, cultural, and ethnic aspects of a resident’s life. Additionally, you will provide input to the development and revision of Personal Care policies and procedures, participate in home programs, and conduct performance appraisals.

Requirements

• Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration are an asset
• Current certification of competence of the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Medication Certificate which meets the College of Nurses Standards of Practice
• One year experience in a long-term care facility with knowledge and interest in gerontology
