Job Description
Pathfinder is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives. DSPs provide high-quality support across all areas of daily living, fostering an environment of growth and inclusion. Key responsibilities include teaching essential skills, facilitating community engagement, administering medications, and advocating for the rights of individuals.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic language, written, and computer skills.
- Ability to support people with disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and safe driving record.
- Ability to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull against potential resistance.
- Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
- Adequate vision, writing, and documentation skills.
