The role is about building and scaling infrastructure, collaborating across multiple product teams, and supporting data-driven solutions. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with teams to identify pain points, develop new tools, and implement security best practices. The role is highly cross-functional, giving the opportunity to influence how teams build, deploy, and operate products at scale.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with containerization technology (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in provisioning infrastructure and managing configurations with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of Data lake services on AWS (Glue, Athena).
- Linux experience: troubleshooting, Bash/Python/Perl scripting, familiarity with multiple distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL).
- Experience developing automation for CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.
- Good to have Kafka knowledge.
- Desire to learn and participate in coaching junior members of the team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Outstanding attention to details.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A customer-centric, empathetic mindset with excellent listening skills.
