Job Description
Peak Energy is looking for an Electrical Engineering Lead to join our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team and lead the development of our gigawatt scale battery electrical and controls systems.
Requirements
- Lead a talented team of electrical engineers in battery management, power conversion and electrical protection systems and supervisory controllers
- Contribute to system design and integration of Peak’s HV energy storage product family, from early development through continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development of tools, infrastructure and design practices for a growing team
- Develop and manage electrical component requirements
- Strong ownership, ensuring success of testing, system integration, production, validation and production of Peak products
- Drive and participate in a culture of rapid prototyping and testing
