Manufacturing Engineer

Join Pentair's Hanover Park, IL team as a Manufacturing Engineer to implement new operational processes and equipment, participate in kaizen events, and provide technical support for plant operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supporting both processes and procedures; 7+ years preferred.
• LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
• Understanding of Project/Program Management Methodologies and utilizing resources to drive bottom line results.
• Basic working knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, servo motion control, sonic and spin welding.
• Experience in robotics programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and JDE.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and other related programs
• Hands on with a strong mechanical / electrical aptitude
