Job Description
The position involves assisting in the administration of medications to residents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established nursing standards and policies. The role involves verifying medication orders, monitoring vital signs, documenting medication administration, and supporting the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse in facility procedures. This is a 6 AM to 6 PM, next day pay position.
Requirements
- Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications.
- Verify medication orders and identity.
- Follow facility procedures for drug receipt errors.
