Job Description
Provide daily nursing care to assigned residents, including assisting with personal hygiene, dental/mouth care, bath functions, dressing/undressing, and toileting. Assist residents with bowel/bladder functions and report changes in condition to the nurse.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or enrollment in a Temporary Nursing Assistant Program
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge and skills to provide resident-age care
- Supportive team member
- Ability to work independently
- Tactful handling of personnel, residents, and family/visitors
- Patience, tact, and enthusiasm
- Willingness to handle difficult situations
