Job Description
The Relief Guest Services Specialist works from the Pine Street Inn policy and procedures to ensure a safe shelter environment for guests and staff. The role requires direct care of guests, assisting with housing pathways, and connecting guests to resources. The Relief GSS is responsible for data entry, documentation, and making sound decisions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Human Services field
- Valid MA driver’s license in good standing (optional)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (optional)
- Administering Narcan and CPR in a work setting (optional)
- Knowledge in the areas of addiction, recovery, and mental illness (optional)
- Knowledge of issues pertaining to the homeless (optional)
