Program Assistant

The Program Assistant position supports various community youth programs at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre and offsite locations. They help to create a safe, friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment for youth to gather, learn, and grow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or 2-3 years related experience in a community setting
• Related experience in youth programming in a community setting, and community programs, especially with at-risk youth.
• Experience working with youth ages 8 to 18, such as babysitting, youth program assistant, coaching sports, camp counsellor, daycare etc.
• Experience working with youth from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts in person, potentially as late as 7PM for certain programs.
