Global Segment Leader

We are looking for a Global Segment Leader to define and drive PitchBook's strategy and outcomes within a specific customer Vertical. The role requires identifying product capability gaps, conducting market and client analysis, and representing PitchBook in client meetings and industry events. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in SaaS, data, or financial services, with a deep understanding of private markets and a proven track record of defining and executing segment or vertical strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years in commercial leadership, go-to-market strategy, or industry-specific roles within SaaS, data, or financial services
• Deep understanding of private markets; direct experience in the target segment strongly preferred
• Proven success in defining and executing segment or vertical strategies with measurable business impact
• Strong executive presence; credible with C-suite clients and internal stakeholders
• Analytical rigor with the ability to synthesize data, market insights, and customer feedback into actionable strategies
• Skilled at influencing across functions without direct authority; highly collaborative operator
• Effective at driving cross-functional alignment around strategic initiatives and priorities
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
