The Account Manager is responsible for making sure the client and customer needs are being met and understood by each department in the company. This involves excellent timeline management, business acumen, and professional communication skills. Travel is required a few times a month.
Requirements
- Communicating with clients by phone, through email and face-to-face to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
- Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
- Conduct high level technical discussions with engineering to increase new opportunities.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
- Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires.
- Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
- Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
- Engage proactively with current customers to identify and pursue additional sales opportunities across various offering
- Provide first-level technical support to customers, including troubleshooting product-related issues and escalating complex cases to engineering.
- Conduct technical presentations or demos for customers to explain product features and capabilities.
- Understand semiconductor supplier and customer market environment including acquisitions to maintain Macnica’s position in a distribution market
