Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join their team and help build innovative solutions for the entertainment industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Hands-on software development expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Postgre or another SQL database system
• Experience building and consuming JSON APIs
• Experience building automated tests using RSpec
• Exposure to git and git-based workflows, including GitHub code reviews
• Ability to find a balance between maintainability, security, performance, and flexibility
• Strong autonomy, self-discipline and ability to self-educate
• Strong leadership skills
• Demonstrated experience with building, managing, and motivating teams
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
