As an HR System Solution Architect within PNC's HR Information Systems organization, you will be responsible for platform configuration, administration, data integrity, and design decisions across incentive compensation programs.
Requirements
- Serve as a Varicent subject-matter expert, responsible for platform configuration, administration, data integrity, and design decisions across incentive compensation programs.
- Analyze business and compensation requirements and translate them into scalable, compliant solutions, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and incentive plan stakeholders.
- Lead the design and evaluation of Varicent architecture, including plan structures, hierarchies, rules, data mappings, and reporting models.
- Oversee Varicent-related initiatives and enhancements, including demand intake, design validation, testing oversight, and production readiness.
- Review and validate inbound and outbound data, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy, auditability, and consistency across payroll and downstream processes.
- Monitor and recommend improvements to Varicent data flows, processing efficiency, and reporting performance, proactively identifying risks and optimization opportunities.
- Provide advanced end-user and stakeholder support, including issue triage, root-cause analysis, and guidance on best practices.
- Lead or contribute to process improvements and automation related to incentive compensation administration and Varicent operations.
- Implement complex Varicent system and configuration solutions, including enhancements that reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
