Job Description
Pomelo Care is seeking dedicated Doulas to provide support to expecting and new parents during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The role focuses on improving birth outcomes through education, guidance, and virtual care, aiming to reduce preterm births, NICU admissions, and maternal mortality. The Doula network provides a flexible schedule and opportunity for community growth.
Requirements
- Experience working as a doula with in-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Completed certification / training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with Telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation.
- Ability to work remotely and in-person.
- Commitment to building a diverse and respectful work environment.
