The Facilities Management Engineer oversees maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems. Coordinates maintenance functions with design, maintenance, engineering, and operations departments.
Requirements
- Monitor repair defect issues with minimal re-works
- Ensure speedy response to maintenance jobs with minimal supervision
- Maintain and keep records of maintenance works and schedules
- Document all repair works and associated details
- Facilitate renovation with documentation and approvals
- Conduct site visits and inspections with zero accidents
- Oversee maintenance on all plant processing equipment
- Perform or direct engineering evaluations and studies
- Conduct on-job-training to direct reports
- Monitor performance and provides coaching for performance improvement
- Knowledge of building facility maintenance, local codes and regulations, materials, tools and equipment
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills
- Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience
