Extruder Operator

Role Overview

Responsible for safely operating Plastics Extrusion Machinery, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility, adapting to changing product and job requirements.

What You Will Do

Setup extrusion lines, load materials, monitor machine output, and adjust as needed. Identify and correct machine issues, complete necessary upkeep, and maintain quality procedures.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate has prior work experience in the packaging industry, preferably with cast-film extrusion machines. Must be able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice, and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work experience in the packaging industry
• 1 year experience working on cast-film extrusion machines
• Experience with Production Software (Vorne, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
