Job Description
The Vice President Operations is responsible for strategic leadership, operational excellence, team development and culture, client and stakeholder engagement, and reporting and governance in the heavy civil construction industry.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Business, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree; MBA preferred
- 5+ years in operations leadership within the energy or industrial construction sector
- 10+ years managing largeāscale heavy civil projects ($75M+), with proven P&L responsibility
- Deep understanding of heavy civil construction, regulatory requirements and best practices
- Strong financial acumenāforecasting, budgeting, cost control and margin optimization
- Contract negotiation and risk assessment in complex project environments
- Technical literacy: interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data; proficient in MS excel, outlook, teams; experience with various ERP systems
