Progyny is seeking a Utilization Management Summer Intern with a Compliance and Accreditation Focus. The Utilization Management Intern will support Progyny’s UM team with a primary focus on compliance, audit readiness, and accreditation-aligned processes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program
- Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables
- Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver
- Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others
- Interest in or experience with healthcare, medical fields, or clinical operations
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently with guidance and managing multiple workstreams
- Ability to interpret processes and create or improve workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to utilization management, medical policy, or healthcare operations
- Experience or familiarity with healthcare compliance, audits, or quality improvement
- NCQA and/or URAC accreditation exposure or experience
