Project Open Hand delivers medically-tailored, nutritious meals and grocery support to individuals battling serious illnesses and seniors in San Francisco and Oakland. Daily, the nonprofit prepares 2,500 hot meals and distributes 200 grocery bags, while a registered dietitian offers personalized nutrition counseling to help clients manage disease symptoms and treatment side effects. The organization leverages a volunteer network of over 125 community members and partners with local businesses to amplify its Food-is-Medicine mission. By combining culinary care with educational outreach, Project Open Hand uniquely sustains both the physical health of its clients and the broader Bay Area community.

2-5 years of experience in warehouse or kitchen inventory control, excellent communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

High school degree, ability to pass CA food handling certification, and flexible work schedule required
