Job Description
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to lead our commercial contracting work and provide clear, pragmatic legal support across the business. The ideal candidate will have significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, and be able to streamline contracting processes and develop playbooks, templates, and training.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years PQE; US-qualified
- Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (in-house or private practice).
- Confident engaging with counterparties across the UK, US, and Europe.
- Experience supporting RFPs/tenders, ideally including public sector and academia.
- Experience with labor and employment laws
- Ability to streamline contracting processes and develop playbooks, templates, and training.
- Strong communicator able to translate legal issues clearly for non-legal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently and under pressure, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- General understanding of data protection laws is a plus
