Job Description
The Tier 3 Engineer provides expert technical support for server, network, application, and virtual CIO systems within a Managed IT Services environment. This role involves troubleshooting, installation, and migration of clients, primarily focusing on AWS and Azure platforms and related technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft licensing. The engineer also contributes to the server infrastructure, network setup, and ongoing knowledge base documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of experience in IT Tier II or Tier III field
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a physical office and travel (up to 75%)
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and Cisco/Meraki
