Job Description
We're looking for an Account Executive to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. You'll be responsible for evangelizing our innovative data storage technology and building relationships with customers in Japan. You'll need 5+ years of outside sales experience and a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, as well as a moderate level of English reading comprehension.
Requirements
- Evangelize our radically simple, all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
- Build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure's value
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to execute and win new Pure Customers
- Drive and manage a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage FSI customers in Japan
- Thought leadership, creativity and a Challenger Mindset
- Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders
- Passionate about post-sales customer success
- Minimum 5 + years of outside sales with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development
- Sales experience with financial industry
- Has deeply finance industry knowledge
- A moderate level of English reading comprehension is required to perform job-related tasks effectively
