As a Composites Engineer at QinetiQ, you will be responsible for activities relating to the verification and validation of composite structural and non-structural components. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with other teams to develop and design composite structures. The successful candidate will have experience in verification and validation of composite structures using pre-preg and resin infusion techniques.
Requirements
- Use your skills and knowledge to develop the capabilities in the areas you are working in; mentor others to improve the knowledge of your areas of expertise within the wider engineering and technical communities
- Combine composites subject matter expertise and sound engineering judgement to solve problems
- Break down complex tasks and then execute the planned schedule of work
- Use your experience in validation and verification to provide justification statements
- Give technical presentations and talk knowledgably about the work conducted in external forums, including conferences and in customer meetings
