Terminal Manager

The Terminal Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of terminal employees to provide cost-effective, timely, quality service to customers. This role includes resolving customer complaints, hiring and training new personnel, enforcing compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and governmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience in the Transportation/Distribution industry
• Working knowledge of truckload transportation operations
• Ability to supervise and discipline personnel with proper documentation
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to interact tactfully with diverse personalities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of mechanical operations and maintenance of revenue equipment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
