Cell Development Engineer, MTS

QuantumScape is looking for a Cell Development Engineer to help improve the performance and reliability of their solid-state lithium-metal battery technology. The role involves validating changes to cell design, developing and optimizing cell assembly processes, and integrating new materials and components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year's experience
• Working understanding of electrochemical systems and battery test metrics
• Practical experience in an R&D/process-development environment
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional settings
