Quince is looking for a Director, Global Trade Compliance to serve as a senior individual contributor within Quince’s global Trade Compliance organization. In this role, you will own high-impact execution across product classification, trade compliance data governance, internal audits, and compliance escalations—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory integrity across our global operations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, or global import/export compliance.
- Strong experience supporting importer-side compliance programs, either in-house or through consulting/brokerage.
- Deep expertise in product classification across multiple product categories and jurisdictions.
- Strong knowledge of customs valuation principles and practical application in an importer environment.
- Experience analyzing Free Trade Agreement eligibility and applying origin rules in operational contexts.
- Strong understanding of U.S. importer obligations, including reasonable care, informed compliance, and audit readiness.
- Experience conducting internal audits, compliance reviews, or control testing related to trade compliance.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex, high-judgment workstreams with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work through complex datasets and regulatory scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across sourcing, merchandising, operations, logistics, technology, and legal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while balancing compliance rigor with business needs.
