Superintendent - Heavy Civil (Various Sites)

Join R-2 Contractors as a Heavy Civil Superintendent and lead crews to execute projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. The role involves leading field operations, ensuring health and safety, and taking ownership to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Foreman
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent
• Proven experience managing large cut/fill and earthmoving projects
• Strong knowledge of earthmoving practices and field execution
• Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment
• Proven experience with GPS machine control systems
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate complex projects
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
• Team-first mindset with the ability to collaborate and empower others
• Must be accountable, self-driven, and willing to put in the effort required for success
• Willing and able to travel and work extended hours as needed
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record
