Job Description
The Program Design Officer will be responsible for designing and adapting RTV's programs to align with local community needs, national policies, and donor expectations. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, Population Studies, or related.
- 3+ years of experience in program design, development, or technical coordination within the development sector.
- Strong understanding of country-specific socio-economic dynamics, policy frameworks, and community engagement strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, especially Excel, VBA, Word, and PPT.
- Experience working in sectoral areas such as Agriculture, WASH, Health, and Livelihoods.
- Ability to develop logical frameworks, impact pathways, and programmatic strategies.
- Familiarity with donor funding requirements and proposal development processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding and speaking Kiswahili/French is an added advantage
