Assistant Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, and employee management. The role focuses on maintaining store appearance, exceeding sales goals, and representing ROC positively to customers and employees. It emphasizes team leadership and problem-solving.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent
• One year experience in retail management, C-store clerk, or store operations
• Knowledge of retail management and people management, a plus
• Some knowledge of store operations
• Demonstrated track record as store clerk
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in leadership, teaching, and motivating employees
• Demonstrated attentiveness to details
• Mathematical analytical ability
• Good computer skills (e.g., point of sale system)
• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Ability to work independently in a high pressure environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, some lifting and working in a grocery store.
