Job Description
Reactivate is a mission-driven organization that develops, owns, and operates renewable energy solutions. The Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team in developing and executing distributed generation solar and storage projects. Responsibilities include managing a team of engineers, overseeing technical design and engineering processes, and supporting construction management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
- 7+ years of experience in engineering in the renewables industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role
- Expertise in solar plant equipment, including PV modules, racking systems, inverters and electrical balance of plants
- Expertise in NEC codes
- NABCEP, PV Installation Professional Certification a plus
- Proficiency with PVSyst, System Advisory Model (SAM) programs, AutoCAD, PVcase, ArcGIS, Helioscope, and Aurora Solar is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills
