Sr. Engineering Manager, Agentic Data Plane

Redpanda is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of 7-10 engineers building core services for the Agentic Data Plane. The role involves owning end-to-end delivery, maintaining operational excellence, and partnering with Product Management to shape the team's roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including building and operating enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
• 3+ years of experience managing highly technical engineering teams, with a track record of delivery
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and operations, with hands-on experience in public clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and distributed systems
• Expertise leading distributed teams across multiple timezones, including onsite and remote
• Experience translating product priorities into team plans and delivering predictably against them
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and demonstrated technical leadership
• A strong sense of empathy for both customers and teammates, and a commitment to building high-trust teams.
