Manufacturing Engineer II

This role requires a Manufacturing Engineer II to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. The ideal candidate will have experience with process improvement, new equipment introduction, and process documentation. The position involves supporting process improvement initiatives, developing action plans, and driving automation to replace manual processes.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related field
• Proficiency designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and tooling in CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred)
• Proficiency creating detailed drawings from solid models for various fabrication techniques (CNC/manual machining, welding, sheet metal forming)
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly (press fits, adhesive bonding, fastener selection)
• Experience introducing new equipment and new processes into a production environment
• Experience creating process documentation
• Ability to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams
