Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Educator develops, organizes, and executes the nursing educational plan to ensure staff clinical competence within the nursing scope and standards of practice, organizational expectations, and compliance with Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current State of Hawaii RN licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years current nursing experience in an acute care setting
- One (1) year experience in educator role in a healthcare setting
- Excellent written, interpersonal, time management and presentation skills
- High degree of accuracy, factual dependability and independent thinking
- Able to conduct and develop training with a working knowledge of nursing practice, theory and CEU requirements
- Ability to safely and effectively manage patients' mobility
