Job Description
The Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) / Occupational & Environmental Health (OEH) Coordinator is responsible for infection prevention and control and occupational and environmental health within the organization to provide a safe, sanitary and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Hawai'i State Board of Nursing
- Must be able to successfully complete the APIC Certification within 24 months of hire
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained before hire date
- One (1) year Infection Prevention & Control Experience or Occupational & Environmental Health/Employee Health experience
