Interpreter (Spanish)

Riggs Community Health Center is seeking a Medical Interpreter for Spanish language patients in a small clinic setting, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for education reimbursement and 401(k).

Requirements

• Interprets spoken statements from one language to another
• Translates documents, correspondence, forms and other written material from one language to another
• Maintains records of materials translated
• Attends all mandatory in-services
• Assists clinical staff with filing patient labs and other reports
• Assists with necessary paperwork and telephone contacts for patient appointments, medications, and follow-up courtesy calls
