The Senior Commissioning Technologist is responsible for commissioning and testing primary and secondary power equipment in the field, including maintaining medium to high-voltage substation power delivery equipment. The role also involves mentoring and educating junior technologists and setting up and operating standard and specialized test equipment to diagnose and analyze the performance of power delivery equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Field Testing and Commissioning
- Experience in substations required (ex. 600v to 500kV)
