Job Description
Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth as a Youth Care Worker at Yosemite Treatment Center in San Andreas, California. Provide safety and supervision for youth, monitor and document behaviors, and collaborate with professional staff to establish and meet treatment plan goals.
Requirements
- Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect
- Have a desire to work with troubled teens
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of previous experience employed as a full-time staff at an adolescent group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program
- Have a bachelor’s degree or Valid Child Development Teaching Permit or 12 Semester Units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
