Business Development Manager

Rittal and EPLAN are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the Central Value Chain, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Professional Services teams to achieve outcomes for North American operations. The role requires complex selling strategies and knowledge of industrial automation ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the automation market and CAE, CAD, and industrial automation software
• Proven record of selling professional services and solutions in electrical engineering and industrial automation markets
• Ability to network with c-level and senior management of clients and partners
• Highly motivated to define and shape strategies pro-actively in an agile business operation
• Ability to develop and propose compelling strategies for tailored engineering solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Technical Sales
