Job Description
Maintenance Repairers are crucial for sustaining production at Rochester Metal Products. This seasonal position involves troubleshooting and repairing foundry equipment on Monday-Thursday shifts, scheduled for 12-hour periods. They require operational skills, understanding of PLC systems, and adherence to safety procedures. They will also need to work weekends.
Requirements
- Ability to operate and use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in high heat environments
- Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures
- Basic Knowledge and ability to PLC Troubleshoot
- Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions
- Knowledge and understanding of how to appropriately wear job required PPE
- Good time management skills
- Good decision making skills
- Knowledge of how to properly use PPE
- Ability to work weekends
- Knowledge of how to troubleshoot preventative and predictive maintenance
